Terms of use

Emil on getemil.ai is a newsletter campaign service: you can browse publications and submit a campaign brief. The operator is named on the imprint. By using the site you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

You may:

• Browse publications and the observed ad market we make available.
• Submit a campaign brief (contact details, company URL, goal, budget band, and timing). Submitting a brief does not book a placement or charge a fee.
• Publication owners may join a quiet supply list with a public newsletter URL. That is not a creator subscription.

Campaign briefs are processed so we can follow up. They are not a purchase. Creator subscriptions on app.getemil.ai check out through Stripe.

When you request a report for your newsletter we aim to email a link within about 24 hours. That timing is an operational target, not a paid service level. You must provide an email you control and a newsletter URL you are entitled to submit.

You can ask us to delete your waitlist requests using the contact details on the imprint. Until then we may email you about the report and about the waitlist you joined.

Placement counts, dates, brand names and similar figures come from monitoring publicly available newsletter issues. Emil does not invent or estimate advertising spend. The ad graph informs where a campaign should run. It is not a promise that a publication will accept a placement, that contact details exist, or that we operate attribution we do not have.

Publication cards, directory rows and labelled examples may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Estimated subscribers are estimates.

Campaign briefs on getemil.ai do not create an account. Creator accounts on app.getemil.ai use a magic-link email. Paid Creator and Pro plans there are billed by Stripe. Stripe processes card details; we store the subscription status needed to enforce plan limits. Weekly match email, when enabled, is sent through our email provider. You can cancel from account settings via the Stripe customer portal.

You must not:

• Overload or scrape the service in a way that circumvents rate limits or harms the site.
• Submit URLs or emails in order to harass others or to probe systems you do not control.
• Misrepresent Emil data as a certified ranking, credit file or official market statistic.

The Emil name, mark and the site’s own text and layout are the operator’s. Brand names and newsletter content we reference remain those of their owners. You may not copy the directory as a competing dataset without permission.

The website is provided as available. We may change, throttle or discontinue analysis, the directory or the waitlist. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost profits, lost outreach opportunities, or inaccurate or missing sponsorship data. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights remain unaffected.

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict of law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you also keep the mandatory protections of that country. The language of these terms is English.

We may update these terms for the public website. The date below is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms for future use of the site.
